The Super Pit Shop

The Super Pit Shop offers information on all aspects of Australia’s largest gold mine (the KCGM Super Pit), premium Super Pit merchandise and authentic Golden Mile gold. The shop is located in the heart of Boulder at 2 Burt Street. The Super Pit model on display in the Super Pit Shop depicts the final pit design expected in 2017. The 3D model’s aerial perspective of the pit is complete with its own fleet of miniature 793C mining truck’s and a shovel! There are also Free video screenings that take you behind the scenes of KCGM processes, the huge equipment and much more. These short videos run regularly and you can phone the Super Pit Shop for times. The Super Pit Shop is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm and on Boulder Market Days (third Sunday of each month) from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Boulder Market Day Super Pit tour tickets are also available for pre-sale from the shop, or are free on the day. Visit the Super Pit lookout located off the Goldfields Highway on Hainault Road.
